Pakistan and Bangladesh are facing off in a three-match T20I series in Lahore, Pakistan, but the exclusion of Sahibzada Farhan from Pakistan's lineup is causing controversy among fans. The series is seen as preparation for the upcoming T20 World Cup in Sri Lanka.

The exclusion of Sahibzada Farhan from Pakistan's first T20I match against Bangladesh has ignited debate among cricket fans. Despite being the leading run-scorer in the recently concluded Pakistan Super League (PSL) 10 with 449 runs, Farhan was left out in favor of Saim Ayub and Fakhar Zaman.

Fans have taken to social media to express their disapproval, accusing the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and team management of unfairness. One user wrote on X, formerly Twitter, "Feel bad for Sahibzada Farhan. If the selection was based on PSL performance, Sahibzada Farhan deserves to open in place of Saim Ayub." Another user echoed this sentiment, stating, "Stop being unfair to Sahibzada Farhan already, man."

However, some fans believe that it was difficult to accommodate Farhan in the playing XI, given the presence of Fakhar Zaman and other established players. Pakistan's T20I captain, Agha Salman, has vowed to lead his side with fearless cricket during the series. He emphasized the importance of balancing aggression with tactical awareness in preparation for the T20 World Cup.

Looking ahead, the series will be a crucial test for both teams as they fine-tune their strategies and team compositions for the upcoming World Cup. Bangladesh will be looking to challenge Pakistan and prove their mettle in the T20 format.
